In the sunny Bussalp - First area there are 48 km of groomed paths for shorter walks, as well as more challenging snowshoe trails. A great way of exercising on foot in heavenly mountainous scenery.

A winter ascent to the summit of the Faulhorn (2681 metres above sea level) is particularly to be recommended, as is the leisurely walk from Bussalp to Bort via Rasthysi. The walk to Bort is regularly also offered as a guided tour. The tour is organised by Grindelwald Bus and is free of charge. Please consult the Grindelwald calendar of events.
