Grosse Scheidegg - First - Bachalpsee - Waldspitz

Along this unique, high-altitude footpath you'll continuously be surprised by the grandeur of the mountain world and the ever-changing magical scenery.

The slightly undulating path leads from Grosse Scheidegg to First with splendid views of Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn and the mighty Eiger wall. Continue in a leisurely ascent to Bachalpsee where the ice-clad peaks are reflected in the crystal-clear lake. The footpath continues in a south-easterly direction across moor landscape, through which gushing streams meander, to Bachläger and on to Waldspitz. From Waldspitz the yellow Grindelwald Buses take you back to Grindelwald.
